Monday, March 27, 2006 ::: OBJECT OF AFFECTION. This wicked game, as its name depicts, is really quite wicked and addictive. Once you get started there's no return. But it's really fun, so why not. I've spent a whole night on it already, and I shall continue only after my exams. It's a little strange returning to the hospital where I've had my first medical rotation at. It's amazing to see how much 8 months can change us but at the same time how little is changed. Maybe some things have changed. The wards look darker. Patients are even more frail. Average age of patients pushed back a bit. Atmosphere's more laid back, there's no sense of urgency whatsoever. People seem nicer, even the ward staff. Nobody gave us any looks even when we took the broken key back to the nursing station. *** We all want to be the object of affection... do we? Stranded at both ends, yet asking the same questions. I'm glad I can still laugh at this. Sometimes, my humor really amazes me.
